About me

Qualified with Masters in Business Administration with background of Pharmacist and contributed for 16+ years in the area of all over pharmaceutical supply chain management and pharmacy services and activities mainly on warehousing, distribution, quantification, improve availability, rational medicine use of program products (MNCH, FP, HIV, TB) including Capacity building , supportive supervision, technical assistance, verifying the end users, conducting assessments in different international NGOs and governmental health facilities under Oromia Regional states Health Bureau, with progressively increasing responsibilities.

Actively working  as Health System Strengthening Field support consultant and officer at GHSC-PSM project, seconded staff to Oromia Regional health Bureau, during which participated in supporting health facilities to optimize warehousing and distribution activities through continuous and strong supportive supervision, improved LMIS usage for decision making, conducting inventory management,  coordinating/facilitating and cascading trainings, mentoring, providing technical support to health facilities under Oromia Regional health Bureau in overall pharmaceuticals supply chain management and , produced reports and other activities.

Worked in logistics and supply chain management improvement assigned as Warehouse and Distribution Officer at MSH/ SCMS project seconded to EPSS Ethiopia, Nekemte Branch. I participated in the support of warehousing and distribution optimization, automation of LMIS at EPSS, providing training to health facilities staff, support data quality improvement and other related activities.

Advised and coordinated preparation of regional pharmaceutical redistribution guidelines, HIV/RTK allocation and distribution SOPs, auditable based pharmacy service indemnity guideline, guideline to establish regional pharmaceutical supply firm. Improved standards of implementation of supply chain management and pharmacy services, documentation and support systems through identification of gaps and providing continual support.

Organized, facilitated and provided capacity building sessions via review meetings, supportive supervisions and trainings. Facilitated, led and conducted supportive supervision at town health offices, Hospitals, health centre professionals so as to identify gaps and fill if happened.

Monitoring and evaluation of Logistics and supply chain management via indicators is the other major supported area during my work experiences.
