    Warehousing (80%)
     Receives and checks incoming medical goods against the delivery note and reports any issues (physical
    damage and discrepancies) and check the presence and exactitude of all different documents (Pre-Packing
    List, Packing List, Air Waybill, Bill of Lading and Customs documents and PO).
     Fill the Arrival Register for every Shipments from Upstream or from local supplier.

     Prints Bin card for newly arrived medical items, reprint Bin card sold out and update the Bin card if
    necessary (i.e. quantity newly arrived but the JDE Lot has an existing quantity in stock).
     Ensures arrangement of the shelving of the medical items as per their appropriate locations.
     Ensures proper storing of medical items according to Good Distribution Practices and ICRC requirements,
    especially regarding cold chain items and controlled drugs,
     Ensures that all stored medical items are properly labelled (expiry dates, batch numbers, manufacturer etc.)
    and recording temperatures as per the SOP.
     Prints Pick Slip and report all the lines in status 540 and process with the picking and packing and respect
    the scheduled pick date (i.e. All the SO lines should be pick and pack not after the scheduled pick date)
     Updates the Bin cards during the picking and make sure to have accurate data (IN – OUT – BALANCE).
     Records and reports any discrepancy between the Pick Slip and the physical stock.
     Perform the picking base on the information (Item code, JDE lot number, Batch number, expiry date and
    quantity) provided by the pick slip.
     Ensures FIFO stock rotation or follows the FEFO when applicable and reports if JDE doesn’t works in that
    way.
     Ensures that all the items picked are cross check by another Colleague in order to avoid errors.
     Pack all the items appropriately while emphasizing fragile products.
     Weighs, tallies and mark each package with the recipient’s name, destination and order number of the
    packages as well as the transport and / or loading and unloading instructions (fragile, direction of the
    package, hazardous materials).
     Generates the Packing List according to the Pick Slip and ensures that each order has a Packing List.
     Makes the packing of the cold chain items according to ICRC protocols and ensures that cold chain is
    maintained during transport.
     Ensures that storage and transport of medical goods complies with Pharmaceutical laws and regulations in
    the country (follow the Pharmacist’s advice)
     Ensures that cold chain equipment’s are working properly, and that daily monitoring is in place.
     Operates all the necessary Warehouse tasks and activities related to the job in JDE all the time and as per
    instructions given.
     Operates all the necessary tasks in relation to storing quarantined medical items and their proper disposal
    operations according to national regulations.
     Participates in the monthly inventory counts.
     Keep the facility’s equipment and materials neat, clean and orderly and reports any issues.
     Where required, ensures that temperatures are properly recorded.
     Supervises the work of helper/loader and appraise accordingly.
    Quality Control (10%)
     Check conformity of the received goods with the PO / PPL (Items, quantity, remaining shelf life, dosage,
    origin, validated manufacturer, PO tracking number, Unit pack) and reports any discrepancy to the
    Pharmacist.
     Checks that the product corresponds with the Quality Certificates provided by the suppliers and reports any
    issues/doubt to the Pharmacist and line manager.
     Ensures that good quality of medical products (drugs, medical materials and medical equipment) are
    supplied to customers by quality control and ensures that their quality is maintained throughout the
    downstream supply chain according to the SOP.
     Organizes the return or exchange of rejected (by the Pharmacist) goods to the supplier.
     Communicates any claim reports from the field concerning quality issues (quantity, damage, wrong Batch
    number or wrong expiry date) for a follow-up with the respective supplier and maintain a file with all claims.
     Makes the investigation to solve any claims report from the field.
    Reporting and statistics (10%)
     Issues claim report (upon request) for missing items and losses/damages only after LCM approval.
     Makes if necessary, lot correction for any wrong information between JDE and physical item.
     Upon request: Provides requested information and data for compilation of the monthly statistics.
     Maintain adequate filling and archives.
    ADDITIONAL DUTIES
     Follows up on all work-related messages and correspondence with the relevant contacts and departments
     Is aware of the delegation’s objectives and has a good knowledge of the Movement and other contacts
    relevant to the position
     Collects and shares information to improve the ICRC’s understanding of the environment and humanitarian
    trends and responses.
     Should accept any duties and responsibilities given in relation to medical operations/activities not specified
    here.
     Takes responsibility for his/her own professional learning and development
     Contributes to the analysis of the security, socio-economic, cultural and political environment relevant to the
    ICRC and share relevant information with colleagues.
     Reports events and changes that could have an impact on ICRC’s activities and hence provides sound
    elements to the Delegation that allow to establish objectives and priorities.
