About the position
We are currently seeking meticulous and dedicated Volunteer Data Encoders to join our team, playing a crucial role in upholding the precision and integrity of our database. The ideal candidates will be entrusted with the critical tasks of accurately and swiftly inputting data into our systems, ensuring the maintenance of high data quality, and identifying and reporting any discrepancies in data.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to input data at a high speed without compromising on quality.
- A strong understanding of data entry protocols and best practices.
- Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of the data.
Roles and responsibilities

- Data Collection: Systematically gather, compile, and verify data from specified sources, ensuring completeness and accuracy. This involves both digital and, where applicable, physical collection methods, adhering to our organization’s data collection guidelines.
- Data Encoding:Precisely and efficiently input collected data into our database systems, maintaining high standards of data quality and integrity. This includes reviewing data for completeness and accuracy, correcting any errors or inconsistencies, and performing routine database maintenance tasks.
- Quality Assurance:Conduct regular checks to ensure the data remains accurate, up-to-date, and usable for organizational needs. This involves identifying, reporting, and addressing any data discrepancies or anomalies.
- Data Security: Uphold strict data privacy and security protocols, ensuring sensitive information is handled with confidentiality and integrity.

Number required – 4
Duration of employment
3 months with a possibility of promotion to fulltime.
